Mansfield Township, Mr. John M Mazzilli, 85, died on May 23, 2018 at home. He was born in Brooklyn and lived in Bergen Field and Mine Hill. He later moved to Florida and returned to (Columbus) New Jersey 15 years ago. He earned his BS Degree from Steven’s Institute of Technology in 1960 and was an Industrial Engineer for the Westinghouse Company in Randolph. He was a member of the Vernon Ski Club and often skied at Sugarbush and Killington, where he went by the nickname “moose”. He was also a member of the Succasunna Presbyterian Church, where he was married.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn A (Hofstetter) Mazzilli of 41 years. He is also survived by his brother Joseph (and Carolyn) Mazzilli of Jackson, sister-in-law Camilla (and Daniel) Melchior of Randolph, niece and nephews; Terri (and Mark) Albrigt, Steven (and Lisa) Mazzilli, Bryan Mazzilli, Daniel III (and Loren) Melchior, and Charles (and Carol) Melchior, and several great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Fran Mazzilli many years ago.
