Mt. Olive Township, Mr. John Joseph Cummings, 64, died on July 24 at the Morristown Medical Center. He was born in Boston, MA and lived in Flanders before moving to Whippany. He was a sales representative for the Morris Plains Stop & Shop and was a member of Local 1262 Food & Commercial Workers Union and previously worked for many years for A T & T in Piscataway.

He was the son of the late James and Nora Cummings and is survived by his 2 sons Matthew J Cummings of Wharton and Michael J Cummings of Flanders. He also leaves his former wife Debra Cummings of Flanders, 6 brothers and sisters; Paul and Robert Cummings of Harwichport, MA, Marianne Giammarco of Knolton, Richard and Edward Cummings of Milton, MA and Noreen Maguire of Marshfield, MA

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Thursday from 11 am – 1 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, 12 noon at the Funeral Home by Fr. John Wherlen.
