Roxbury Township, Mr. John B Guerrero, 88, died on February 13, 2020 at the Merry Heart Nursing Home in Succasunna. He was born in Kenvil and was a life long resident of Roxbury Township. He proudly served in both the U S Marine Corps and the U S Navy during the Korean War. He was a retired parts editor for the Somerset Technologies Company in Bound Brook for 36 years, and loved wood working. After retiring, he enjoyed traveling around the country with his wife Phyllis. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching baseball, football and basketball. He also enjoyed the times he attended Nets games.

 

He is survived by his wife Phyllis L Guerrero of 62 years, and by his 3 sons; John L Guerrero of Sicklerville, NJ, Chris Guerrero of Hopatcong, and Lee J (and his wife Nadja) Guerrero of Austria. He also leaves his 2 grandchildren; Nicholas and Jessica Guerrero, and daughter-in-law Deborah O’Connell of Byram Township. Also a sister, Amelia Solaguren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ.   (973) 584-7264, on Wednesday, February 19th, from 4 – 7 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday at 10 am. The Interment with military honors will follow at the Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery.
