John Andrew Pfuelb, 82, of Roxbury Township, NJ, passed away on May 11, 2026, at Morristown Medical Center.

Born in Newark, NJ, and raised in Irvington, John also lived in Annandale, Washington, and Flemington during his life. He was a retired Executive and Vice President of Gordon Publications in Randolph, NJ, and a prior member of Weichert Realtors in Clinton, NJ.

John enjoyed golfing, traveling, fishing, and cooking, with cooking being his true passion. He dedicated much of his time to volunteering, preparing meals for the homeless every Sunday at St. John’s Soup Kitchen in Newark. A hardworking, kindhearted man, John’s warmth, humor, and generosity touched everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his children, Julie Adams of Glenolden, PA, and B.J. Pfuelb of Clinton, NJ, and by his four grandchildren: Tatum, Cruz, Riley, and Logan. He also leaves behind two brothers, George J. Pfuelb of Chatham, NJ, and Robert Pfuelb (Shuei) of Annapolis, MD, as well as nieces Pam Hood and Lisa Pfuelb, and many numerous extended family members, and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

Friends may visit at Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ (973-584-7264), on Monday, May 18, from  5 – 8  p.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, May 19, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese R.C. Church, in Succasunna, followed by the interment at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Upper Montclair, NJ
