Newton, Mrs. Jessie Hunt Strowbridge, 94, died on December 10, 2021 at Bristol Glen in Newton. She was born in Morris Plains and lived in Landing for many years, later moving to Budd Lake and Newton. She was a retired Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Students at the County College of Morris in Randolph, and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Starlight Chapter and an accomplished pianist.

 She was predeceased by her husband John Henry Strowbridge, Sr in 2007, and by her daughter Carol Jane Strowbridge in 2019. She is survived by her son John Henry, Jr. (and Joan) Strowbridge of Blairstown, and granddaughter Sarah Jessica Ruth Strowbridge of Plainsboro, NJ.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home,96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ973-584-7264(davishepplewhitefh.com)on Tuesday (December 14th) from 9 – 11am. The Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 11 am, followed by a private interment at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester.
