Jennine Caro, 80, passed away peacefully at Victoria Mews Assisted Living in Boonton Township, NJ on August 17, 2025. Jennine was born and raised in Fair Lawn, NJ to the late Frank and Frances (née LeClech) LeFoll. She graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University and was a medical technologist at Hackensack Hospital. Jennine and her husband Henri moved to Succasunna, NJ in 1973 with their two sons. While raising her children, Jennine also assisted with the financials for Henri’s paving and landscaping business. In 1999 Jennine and Henri built The Mall at Wild Geese in Budd Lake, NJ. They retired to Green Township, NJ in 2008.
Jennine is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Henri Caro. She is survived by her son, George (and Danielle) Caro of Connelly Springs, NC; her son John (and MaryBeth) Caroff of Cedar Knolls, NJ; her grandchildren Nicholas (and Valerie), Spencer, and Mackenzie Caro, and Ciara Caroff.
Friends and family may visit at Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ, 973-584-7264 on Friday, August 22nd from 9 – 9:30 am. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday, August 22nd at 10:00 am at St. Therese R.C. Church in Succasunna, NJ followed by interment at the Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery.
