Mt. Arlington, Mrs. Ingunn Pedersen, 74, died on March 27, 2018 at the Merry Heart Nursing Home in Succasunna. She was born in Skien, Norway and came to the United States in 1961 to West Orange before moving to Morris County 43 years ago. She then earned her Nursing Degree and worked as an RN at St Barnabas Hospital in Livingston for almost 30 years. She was an active member of Hillside Lutheran Brethren Church in Succasunna and was a Social Director for Sons of Norway, Norbu Lodge in Lake Telemark, New Jersey.

She is survived by her husband Charly K. Pedersen of 54 years, 3 daughters; Sandra Pedersen of Upstate New York, Dianne (and Anthony) Covello of Connecticut, and Heidi Pedersen of Succasunna, New Jersey, 7 grandchildren; Haley, Zachary, Kristofer, Kendall, Charlyze, Espen, and Owen, and great granddaughter Lyla, and other relatives in Sweden, Norway and Australia.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Wednesday from 5 – 8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10 am, at the Hillside Lutheran Brethren Church in Succasunna, with the interment to follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester. A lunch will then follow back at Hillside Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local ALS Chapter at ALSA.org
