Roxbury Township, Frederick A Smith, Sr, 91, died on February 13, 2014 at St Clare’s Hospital in Dover. He was born in Brooklyn and lived in Boonton before moving to Succasunna 40 years ago. He served in the U S Navy during WW II and was a member of the Kenvil VFW. He was a salesman most all of his life and worked for the Grinnell Paving Block in Sparta until he retired in 2007 at the age of 84.

 He was predeceased by his wife Lorraine G (Buhl) in 2004 and is survived by his 6 children; Geoffrey, Louise Stelling, Cathleen Muraski, Fred, Jr (and Maureen), Peter (and Maryruth), and William (and Janet), 5 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren
