Mine Hill, Mr. Frank Joseph Schott, 51, died on November 20, 2019 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville. He was born in Dover and grew up in Flanders. He later lived in Netcong before moving to Mine Hill several years ago. He worked for the Morris County Road Department for 16 years. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved restoring hot rods, and was often found recycling metals, and was known as the scrap metal guy.

He is survived by his father Arthur A Schott of Succasunna, 3 brothers; Arthur Albert Schott of Netcong, Philip A Schott of Ledgewood, and Lawrence C Schott of Mine Hill, his sister Mary Ann Schott of Succasunna, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Marie Schott and mother Mary Schott.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 973-584-7264     (davishepplewhitefh.com), on Sunday (November 24), from 2 – 5 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at 4 pm. A repass will follow at the Flanders Fire House.
