Hopatcong, NJ  Miss Florence Marie Mulligan, 71, died on December 30, 2014 at the Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover. She was born and raised in Dobbs Ferry, NY and lived there most of her life before moving to Hopatcong 30 years ago. She retired in 1999 from the Exxon Corporation in Florham Park having previously worked for Exxon in New York. She loved to watch mysteries, read, and loved animals.

 She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Florence Mulligan and by her best friend Doris Carelli in 2004. She is survived by her dear friends; Doris Ottoson of Panther Valkley and Amy Quinoa and family of Panther Valley, Mark Ottoson and family of Flanders, Jan Jones and Family of  Kunkletown, PA, David Ottoson and Family of Stanhope, Leslie Crinnian and Family of Edgewater, FL, friends and neighbors; Gene and Eleanor Totten of Hopatcong, and her cat Salem.
