Mt. Arlington,  Mr. Eugene F Wilkins, 96, died on October 19, 2012 at the Mt. Arlington Seniors Center. He was born and raised in Brooklyn where he lived most all of his life before moving to Mt. Arlington this year. He was a retired manager for the New York Bell Telephone Company and was an active member and Eucharistic Minister at St. Columbus R C Church in Brooklyn. He also belonged to their Men’s Club and Knights of Columbus.

He was predeceased by his 2 wives; Marion and Katherine and is survived by his son Clifford Wilkins of Randolph, 3 grandchildren; Maureen (and Stephen) Mahoney of Carmel, IN, Joyce (and Henry) Pollison of Succasunna, and Clifford (and Laura) Wilkins of Summit, and 6 great grandchildren; Trevor, Meaghan, Kevin, Ryan, Owen, and Austin.

Friends may visit at the Davis and Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Succasunna (973-584-7264) davishepplewhitefh.com on Wednesday from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, 10 am, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton  R C Church in Flanders. The interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Middle Village (Queens), NY.
