Roxbury Township, Mrs. Elena Nita, 82, died on December 28, 2017 at the Morris View Nursing Home in Morris Township. She was born in Comuna Rominesti, Romania and came to the United States 25 years ago, first settling in CT, before moving to Ledgewood 7 years ago.

She is survived by her husband Ion Nita, her daughter Emilia Cobos, and 2 grandchildren; Monica Lander and Nick Jaramillo.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 973-584-7264    (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Friday from 6 – 8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, 11 am at the Life Giving Church in Califon, with the interment to follow at the Pleasant Grove Union Cemetery.
