Bernards Township, Mrs. Eleanor K Fraser, 89, died on November 17, 2021 at the Sunrise of Basking Ridge senior living residence. She was born in Forest Hills, NY and lived in Succasunna with her husband, James Fraser for 35 years before moving to Dagsboro, Delaware with him in 2000. In 2013 Ellie moved back to New Jersey and for the last 4 years was a resident of Sunrise of Basking Ridge. She was a homemaker and member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Succasunna, NJ.

She was predeceased by her husband James Fraser in 2007, and is survived by her daughters; Joyce Fraser and her wife, Katherine Boyle of Green Brook, NJ, Janet Schneider of Maitland, Florida and son-in-law Rene’ Schneider from Ocoee, Florida. She also leaves her grandchild, Chara Schneider. Surviving are her nephews Jeffrey Freitag, Richard Freitag, Ronald Freitag and niece, Debbie Freitag along with their families.

Friends and relatives may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Tuesday (November 23rd) from 3 – 7 pm, with the Funeral Service at 6 pm. The interment will be held at the Denville Cemetery at a later date.
