Roxbury Township, Mrs. Dorothy (Dottie) Kalug Lemp, 79, died on April 7, 2026 at her home in Succasunna.  She was born in The Bronx, NY and grew up in Fair Lawn, NJ.  She graduated Fair Lawn High School in 1965 and worked in the Accounting Department of Witco Chemical Company for 12 years.  She married her husband for life, Ronald (Ron) Lemp in 1976 and moved to Parsippany, then Succasunna in 1977.  She often said her biggest lifetime accomplishments were her marriage to Ron and bringing into the world and raising her two wonderful boys, Matthew (Matt) and Kenneth (Ken).  Her proudest days were watching her boys receive their high school and college diplomas, their wedding days, and seeing them advance in their professional careers.  She loved and cherished her two beautiful daughters-in-law, Erica and Stephanie (Steph).  A proud stay-at-home mom, Dorothy devoted much of her time to numerous Roxbury school activities and to her boys’ education and upbringing.  Her favorite place on earth was Hawaii, visiting the 4 main islands 5 times on family vacations.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Emily Kalug.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ronald Alan Lemp, and by her sons; Matthew (and Stephanie) Lemp of Maryland and Kenneth (and Erica) Lemp of Florida.

 Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 07876 (973) 584-7264 on Monday April 13 from 6 to 8 PM and Tuesday April 14th, from 10 AM to 11 AM with a memorial service at 11 AM, followed by the interment at Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery.
