Blairstown, NJ. Mr. Donald John Jaronsky II died on August 16, 2021. He was born in the Bronx, NY on October 7, 1962, and lived in Hopatcong before moving to Blairstown, NJ. He was an owner and cofounder of Landscape Originals, Inc., in Blairstown, NJ, where he creatively designed landscape construction projects and installed fiberglass pools.

 He is survived by his children; Donald John (and wife Sarah Carroll) Jaronsky III and Nicole Jaronsky, wife Phyllis (Barone) Jaronsky, grandchildren; Peyton Jaronsky and Liam Jaronsky, mother Elsie Lombardo, three brothers; Christopher (and wife and sons Shelly, Christopher, David, Jake and Max) Jaronsky, Michael (and son Michael) Jaronsky, and Steven Jaronsky.

Don started Landscape Originals, Inc. 31 years ago, accompanied by his partner, Dennis Kovalcik. His son, Donald Jaronsky, has also played an integral part in the company’s success. The work done by Landscape Originals, Inc., has made it on the cover of Latham Pools magazine and has won multiple first place awards in national pool design contests. Their work was truly outstanding and deserving of recognition.

Don found pride in his work, his children, and most of all his grandchildren. He was the most incredible grandfather and was so loved by his two grandchildren, Peyton and Liam, who knew him as “Pop”.

Outside of work and family, you could find Don on his boat on Lake Hopatcong. He lived for lake days with his charismatic and loving group of friends; Dean, Lou, Scott and Ulysses to name a few of many.

He was a funny and simple man who always had a positive outlook on life. To know him, was truly to love him.

 A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday August 21, 2021 at 2 – 6 pm, at the Jefferson House, at Lake Hopatcong.
