Roxbury Township, Mr. Dean E Blair, Sr., 90, died on March 7, 2018 at St. Clare’s Hospital I Dover. He was born in Dover and was a 1945 graduate of Dover High School. He then served in the U S Army during WW II. He was an Insurance Adjuster and Appraiser for the Allstate Insurance Company in Succasunna and later for Towne Restoration in Randolph. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, archer, out doors man, and loved all cars.

He was predeceased by his wife Marion (Hughson) in 2000, and by his sister and 4 brothers. He is survived by his 3 children; Dean Jr. (and Beth) Blair of Cape May, Hilah (and Robert) Skinner of Great Meadows, and Robert (and Vicki) Blair of Succasunna, his brother Harry (and Adele) Blair of WI, 9 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Sunday from 3 – 5  pm. The Funeral Service will be on Monday, 10 am at the Funeral Home, with the burial to follow at the Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery.
