After 69 years of life, Daniel P. Kelleher passed away on September 14, 2025. He died comfortably in his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in Baldwin, Long Island, where he met the love of his life and eventual wife, at 15 years old. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara Ann Kelleher, his three children, Daniel, and his wife Marlie, his daughter Alexandra, and his youngest daughter Sarah, and her husband Mark. He is also survived by his two beloved grandchildren Tripp and Ceci.
Daniel earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point and had a long career in marketing at Drew Marine for more than 30 years. He enjoyed the three G’s: gardening, gambling, and the Giants. His wife and family were his everything. His spirit, his humor, and his storytelling will live on forever.
Friends and loved ones may visit at Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home at 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ on Thursday September 18th from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm. The celebration of Dan’s life will be held Friday, September 19th at 10 am at St. Therese Church, Succasunna, NJ, followed by the interment at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to pancan.org, an organization researching the cure for pancreatic cancer.
