Roxbury Township,  Mrs. Christine Smith, 61, died on July 9, 2013 at St Clare’s Hospital in Dover. She was born and raised in Vailsburg (Newark) and moved to Roxbury Township 13 years ago. She was a medical transcriber for Dr. John Hurley in Morristown for nearly 30 years, and was an avid animal lover and bird watcher.

She is survived by her husband Robert F Smith of 35 years, and her 3 children; Sean Patrick Smith, Shannon Marie Smith, and Timothy Michael Smith, all of Roxbury Township.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Friday from 7 – 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at 8 pm during the visitation. Donations may be made in her name to the animal shelter of your choice.
