Hackettstown,  Mr. Charles W Davis, II , 65, died on January 31, 2012 at the Hackettstown Hospital. He was born in Long Beach, CA and grew up in Michigan and went to Michigan State University. He then served in the U S Navy during the Viet Nam War before moving to Denver, CO. He then moved to Succasunna for many years before moving to Hackettstown 11 years ago. He was a retired engineer for Bell Laboratories in Morristown, and an active member of the Grace The Church On The Mount in Netcong, where he ran the sound board for the services. He was also a member of the National CEOSPACE business networking group and was an avid photographer.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Griffin-Davis of 39 years, 3 children; Dawn (and York) Swanson of Centennial, CO, Matthew (and Marne) Davis of Shoreline, WA, and Christian Davis of Spanaway, WA., sisters; Lesley Brucey of Oregon and Donna Coe of CA, 8 grandchildren; Kaci M (and Andrew) Campbell, Kodi, Kyler, and Kamden Swanson, and Chandler, Joey, Emma, and Paige Davis, and 2 great grandchildren; Alarie and Breckston Campbell.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18^th at 11:30 am at Grace The Church On The Mount.
