Carol Ann Battista, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, was born on August 3, 1959, in Denville, New Jersey, to Margaret Helen (Bensoskey) and Ronald Robert Davo, Sr. As the middle child of nine siblings, Carol developed a nurturing spirit at an early age, always looking out for others and lending a helping hand.
Her generous heart knew no bounds. Carol was never one to turn down a request, whether it was taking in a stray animal or offering support to a friend in need. Her home was often filled with the sounds of loved ones, a testament to her welcoming nature.
Carol found joy in life’s simple pleasures—reading, tending to her garden, creating intricate diamond art, and experimenting with new recipes to share. But more than anything, her greatest happiness came from watching her children and grandchildren grow and thrive, cherishing every moment spent with them.
Carol was predeceased by her parents and two siblings, Thomas and Linda Davo. She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter through her surviving family: siblings Ronald Davo Jr., Mary Wrede, Michael Davo, James Davo, Joanne Glennon, and Chuck Davo; daughters Alysia (Scott) Della Salla, Amanda (Mark) Johnson, Melissa Battista, Shannon Williams, and Jackie Battista; and grandchildren Austin, Callie, and Harper Della Salla; Kinley and Krew Johnson; Ashlyn Battista; Savannah, Aria, Andrew Yarlaski; and Christian and Brady Williams.
Her love and kindness touched many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of Carol’s life will be held on August 3, 2025.
