Roxbury Township, Mr. Carlos Manuel Vidal Santana, 73, died on June 9, 2021 at his home in Ledgewood. He was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico and moved to Ledgewood 2 years ago . He was a retired chief custodian for the Paterson Board of Education. He loved music, and played many different styles of guitars and sang. He was also a member of Temple Shalom (congregation of Yahweh) in Paterson.

 He is survived by his wife Cecilia (Ribot) Vidal of 50 years, and by his 2 daughters; Marilu (and Ernesto A.) Zavala and Aracelis (and Hector) Falcon, and 5 grandchildren; Ernesto A Zavala, Jr., Daniel A Zavala, Josiah and Jeremiah Gerena, and Jaylin C Rivera, and brother Juan Jose Vidal of Fajardo, Puerto Rico.
