Roxbury Township, Mrs. Bernice “Pat” Haggerty Clark, 99, died on September 1, 2026 at her home. She was born the sixth of eight children to Floyd and Clara (Van Haste) Haggerty at home in Succasunna and remained a life-long resident. She was a 1945 graduate of Roxbury High School and later worked as a personnel administrator for the Dynapac Corporation in Stanhope, NJ for 25 years. She was married to Clarence “Clarky” Clark for 77 years before his passing in 2024. They enjoyed hosting pool parties in their backyard and traveling in their Winnebago. She always knew when the Yankees were playing.

She is survived by her son William D (and Deborah Young) Clark of Randolph and daughter-in-law Mariann (Mertz) Clark of CT. She leaves her 3 grandchildren; Stacey Clark of MD, Karen (and Sean) DeBree of PA, and Stephanie (and Adam) Brink of CT, 7 great grandchildren; Kimberly (and Brendan) Hallissey, Lauren Kerwien, William Kerwien, Samantha DeBree, Kristina DeBree, Evelyn Brink, and Archer Brink, and a great -great granddaughter Charlotte Hallissey.

She was predeceased by her son Thomas G Clark and grandson Sean Thomas Clark. She was also predeceased by her brothers and sisters; Floyd “Nip” Haggerty (Shirley), Myrtle Burd (Ernest), Helen Cooper (Howard), Lois Cooper (Lewis), Iva Sweeney (Edward), Gordon Haggerty (Violet) and Elizabeth Haggerty.  She had 24 nieces and nephews and knew exactly what they were up to because everyone spilled the tea to her.

Friends may visit on Saturday, September 5th, 2026, from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ. Her Funeral Service will be held  at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home, followed by the interment at the Succasunna Methodist Cemetery. A repast will then follow at the United Methodist Fellowship Hall.
