Mt. Arlington, Mrs. Bernadette Adone, 78, died on December 5, 2016 at home. She was born and raised in Staten Island where she lived most of her life, before moving to Roxbury Township 28 years ago. She was a secretary for St. Therese R C Church religious education for many years and also taught CCD. She was also a member of the Rosary Altar Society. She was previously a member and secretary at St. Ann R C Church in Staten Island.

She is survived by her 3 children; Darryl (and Diane) Adone of Staten Island, Marybeth (and Robert) Eckert of Succasunna, and Dean (and Gina) Adone of Succasunna, 6 grandchildren; Danielle, Kylie, Desiree, Kurt, Derek, and Vincent, and by her 2 brothers; Barry Kiley of FL, and Terrence Kiley of VA.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday, 10 am, at St. Therese R C Church, with the interment to follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester.
