Roxbury Township, Mr. Bartolomeo (Buddy) Palumbo, 93, died on July 10, 2021 at the VNA Hospice in Dover. He was born in New York City, NY and grew up in Jersey City, before moving to Ledgewood 15 years ago. He served in the U S Navy during WW II, was a Merchant Marine, and worked at Penn Railroad and Red Star Trucking Company before retiring in 1989. He was also a member of St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna.

He is survived by his wife Frances (nee Pirro) Palumbo of 59 years, and by his children: Bart Palumbo, Darlene Scannell, Debra Manzo, Michael Palumbo, Diane O’Hea, and Nicole Nickerson. Buddy was most fond of spending time with his grandchildren; Samantha, Jessica, Nick, Danny, Brianna, Vincent, Giancarlo, Shawn, Luke, Scarlett, Andrew, and Logan.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 973-584-7264 (www.davishepplewhitefh.com) on Tuesday (July 13^th) from 6 – 9  pm. The Funeral Liturgy with Military Honors, will be held on Wednesday, 10 am, at St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna.
