Roxbury Township, Anne C. Dowd, 82, of Mt. Arlington, died on March 17.  She had lived in Succasunna for 54 years before moving to Mt. Arlington two years ago.  She is survived by her loving husband, John, four children, and ten grandchildren.

Anne was born on Jan 9, 1941, grew up, and got married in the Bronx, then moved to Rochester, NY for two years before settling for good in Succasunna.  Anne’s mother, Margaret Conlan lived with her and John in Succasunna for 30 years, before passing away in 1999 at the age of 96.  Anne is also pre-deceased by her father Joseph and cherished siblings, Joseph and Mary. Anne was a long-time bus driver in the Roxbury school system.

Besides John, Anne is survived by her children Michael (and Peggy) of Ringoes, NJ, Marianne (and Steve) Farkas of Merrick, NY, Lorraine (and Curtis) White of Chatham, NJ, and Brendan (and Beckie) of Moultonborough, NH and her ten grandchildren, Timothy, Mallory, Inna, Xander, Katherine, Bridget, Erin, Stephen, Aidan and Ellie.   Anne is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, and nephews who loved spending time with her.

The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday 10 am at St. Therese R C Church with the interment to follow at the Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery.
