Mount Arlington, Mr. Andrew Pravs, 73, died on December 14, 2014 at the Morristown Medical Center. He was born near Riga, Latvia and came to the United States in 1949 through Elis Island and settled in Philadelphia, PA. He moved to Mount Arlington 47 years ago. Andrew retired as the VP of Textile Sourcing and Quality Control for Liz Claiborne Inc. in Secaucus where he worked for 18 years, before retiring in 2005. He previously worked for the International Playtex Co. in research and development. He was a 20 yr member and past president of the Lakeland Corvette Association and loved doing autocross in his 1968 Corvette Stingray. Andrew also loved animals, especially his dogs.

 He is survived by his wife Anne (Leary) Pravs of 35 years, 3 children; Monika Pravs of Philadelphia, PA, Carl (and Jennifer) Seibert of CA, and Kristian Seibert of MN, 3 grandchildren; Ashlyn, Allie, and Jack Seibert, and brother Maris (and Mara) Pravs of FL.
