Roxbury Township, Ms. Amy Elizabeth Bitting, 94, died on April 6, 2020 at her home in Kenvil. She was born in Emporium, PA and grew up in Kenvil. For a while she lived in New York City where she worked as a registered nurse in one of the large hospitals and later returned to Kenvil for over 50 more years. She was a Register Nurse for the Westinghouse Escalator Company in Randolph for many years before retiring. She enjoyed skiing, golfing, line dancing and entertaining her many friends and family.  She was also a Girl Scout and supported the local Girl Scouts.

She was predeceased by Stephen Moriak in 2012 and is survived by her niece Elyse Moorhead of Lower Gwynedd, PA, nephew William Burgy of Annapolis, MD, niece Amy Beilharz of California, and her dear friends the Valdes Family, her next door neighbors.

Arrangements are the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com). Her Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the Funeral Home, with the interment to follow at the Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery.
