Roxbury Township, Mrs. Alice Elizabeth Richards passed away December 8, 2013 at the age of 90 and was one of three children born to Luciano and Maria (Ascaso) Sanchez of Jaca, Spain. Married in 1942, she is predeceased by her husband William (Bee), brother Jesus (Frankie), and sister Angelus (Angie).

She was born in New York City and moved to Succasunna 61 years ago. She worked at Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway Township from the late 1950’s to 1984. She held several secretarial positions, retiring within the Legal Department. She was a member of the Roxbury Township Senior Citizens Club.

 She will be long remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She is survived by her son William (and his wife Karen) Richards of Bedminster, NJ, grandsons; William (and Karen) of Jersey City, and Matthew (and Esther) of Nutley, great grandchildren; Alexis, Matthew, and Andrew of Nutley, NJ

 Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, 10 am at the Funeral Home, with the interment to follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester.
