Wharton,   Mr. Peter Dobrowolski, Jr., 85, died on September 21, 2012 at the Andover Nursing Home. He was born at home in Wharton, where he lived all of his life. During WW II he served in the U S Army and became a machinist at the L E Carpenter Company in Wharton until his retirement in 1987.

He is survived by his brother William Doublosky of Succasunna, sister Helen Chazick of Flint, Michigan, and by many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, 10 am, at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester. Arrangements are by the Davis and Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Succasunna (973-584-7264) davishepplewhitefh.com
