Randolph,  Mrs. Betty L Crater, 80, died on June 26, 2020 at the Merry Heart Nursing Home. She was born in Morristown and grew up in Roxbury. She graduated from Roxbury High School in 1957 and moved to Randolph 42 years ago. She was a retired Accounting Clerk for the Schindler Elevator Company in Randolph.

She is survived by her husband Clyde A Crater of 42 years, her 4 children; Debbie (and Steve) Giannos, John “Bucky” (and Sue) Crater, Lynn (and Fiancé Keith) Ciccarone, and Laura (and David) Roberts. She also leaves her 7 grandchildren; Michelle, Ricky, Nicky, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Nicole and Madison; 2 great granddaughters; Faye and Allana; brother Richard (and Sue) Pickel and sister Marion Bawiec. She was predeceased by her two loving sisters Patricia Gottsleben and Dorothy Sund.

Friends may visit the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Wednesday from 10 am – 12 noon (on a rotating basis). There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, 12:30 pm, at the Locust Hill Cemetery in Dover, prior to the entombment there.
