Roxbury Township, Mr. Lawrence J Summers, 66, died on March 2, 2025 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover. He was born May 8th, 1958 in Summit and lived in Meyersville for a short time before moving to Succasunna area where he has resided for the past 62 years. He attended Roxbury Public School and graduated in 1976. He was an associate in the shipping and receiving at Sears in Rockaway for 24 years, and enjoyed bowling, traveling to Disney World and trips to Hershey Park. He was a huge sports fan of the New York Mets, Dallas Cowboys, and Boston Celtics.

He is predeceased by his mother Carolyn H Summers and his father John A Summers.

He is survived by his loving wife Joy Summers of 30 years, and by his daughter Ashley Summers of Succasunna, and sister Joyce Summers- Gorgolione and husband Joseph Gorgolione of Hopatcong. He was an amazing uncle to many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews too. He will be truly missed.
