Morris Plains, Mr. Frederick G. Heunemann, 97, died on February 4,2014 at the Morris View Nursing Home. He was born in Newark and lived in Livingston, Succasunna, Haddonfield, and Moorestown before moving to Morris Plains 2 years ago. He was a mechanic for UPS in Newark for 35 years. Earlier in his life he was a baseball player         and tried out for the Chicago Cubs. During his retirement years he enjoyed spending time with his family, bowling, fishing and golfing.

He was predeceased by his wife Hermia A Heunemann in 1994 and is survived by his five children. George Heunemann, Lake Elsinore, CA, Evelyn Tanke, Port St. Lucie, Fl, Frederick Heunemann, Ithaca, NY, Jack Heunemann, Randolph Township, NJ, Susan Hise, Asheville, NC , eight grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Fred had a long ,wonderful and blessed life and he will be deeply missed by his family.
