Roxbury Township, Mr. Vincent A Urgo, 88, died on November 13, 2015 at the Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover. He was born in Jersey City and lived in Long Branch for most of his life. He then lived in Eatontown before moving to Succasunna 13 years ago. He served in the U S Navy during WW II and was a retired, 40 year member, of the Carpenters Union Local in Asbury Park. He was also an avid fisherman and hunter.

He was predeceased by his wife Palma Urgo in 2007 and is survived by his 2 daughters; Judy (and Bob) Bauer of Succasunna and Claire (and Roy) Schrumpf of Delaware, 4 grandchildren; Kelly (and Jacob) Lind, Michael (and Lauren) Schrumpf, Roy Bauer, and Stephanie Bauer, a great granddaughter Katie Lind, and brother Joseph Urgo of Eatontown, NJ.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, 973-584-7264 (www.davishepplewhitefh.com) on Sunday, from 2 – 5 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, 10 am, at the Funeral Home with the interment to follow at the Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery.
