Belvidere NJ, Teresa “Tess” M. Tardive, 92, died on June 4, 2015 at her home. She was born and raised in Dover and lived in Succasunna most of her life before moving to Belvidere 29 years ago. She was a beautician and owner of  Teresa’s Beauty Salon on Main Street in Succasunna for 25 years. She was a founding member of St. Therese Church and Rosary Society and also attended the Sacred Heart R C Church and Elementary School in Dover. She was an avid reader, bingo player, and loved playing cards.

 She was predeceased by her husband Ambrose Tardive in 1975 and is survived by her 6 children; Ambrose Jr. (and Frances) Tardive of Phillipsburg, Diana Tardive of Mt. Bethel, PA, Gino Tardive of Jupiter, FL, William Tardive of  Bangor, PA, Gabriel (and Dee) Tardive of Netcong, and Rick (and Debbie) Tardive of Buttzville. She also leaves her sisters; Mary Fiorino and Evie Sommers, both of Dover and brother Rev. Fr. Alfred Fiorino at Fordam University in Bronx NY, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

 Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Sunday from 4-7 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, 11:30 am, at the Sacred Heart R  C  Church in Dover, with the interment to follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
