Susan Yvonne Rawlinson (60) passed away peacefully at home following a brief illness. She was born on April 21, 1966 to Gary and Yvonne Metzler in Levittown, NY and was raised in Coram, NY. Following her High School graduation and attending SUNY-Cortland, she went work as a telephone operator for AT&T in Massachusetts and New York.

Then, one day in 1996, she met her future husband Chuck in an online chat room. A chance online encounter led to an almost 30 year relationship, a loving husband and two children she was fiercely proud of. The family of four settled in Succasunna in 2004. Susan spent a lot of time volunteering as a Girl Scout Leader and at the Museums at Drakesville.

She had a passion for taking cruises, which she did at every opportunity, for the family trips to Wildwood and for her work as a travel agent.

She is survived by her husband, two children (Kate and Emily), her loving, devoted parents Gary and Yvonne, sister Allison Guvenel, three brothers in law, one sister in law, three nieces, three nephews, mother in law and countless treasured extended family and friends.
