Roxbury Township, Stella Jean Gruber, 87, died on September 6, 2013 at her home. She was born in Jenkins, PA, grew up in Yatesville, PA. She lived in Wallington (Bergen County) before moving to Ledgewood 7 years ago. She was a homemaker and member of St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna. She also loved spending time at Lake Hopatcong, Horseshoe Lake, roses, picking apples and all animals.

She was predeceased by her husband Richard in 1999 and is survived by her 3 daughters; Elizabeth Gruber of Budd Lake, Patricia Cadogan of Budd Lake, and Ruth Gruber at home. She also leaves her 4 grandchildren; Michael, Edwin, Christina, and Daniel, and brother Sammy Zingarelli of Toms River.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Wednesday from 6 – 9 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Thursday, 10 am, at the Saint Therese R C Church in Succasunna, with the internment to follow at the Brigadier General Doyle National Veteran’s Cemetery in Arneytown, NJ.
