Rockaway Township, Miss Skylar Jane Matthews, 21, died on March 31, 2018. She was born in Glen Ridge and lived in Verona and Roxbury Township before moving to Rockaway. She was a graduate of the New Bridge School in Parsippany and was a hostess at the Olive Garden in Rockaway.

She was predeceased by her father Robert E Matthews last year, and is survived by her mother Jennifer A Matthews and brother Justin R Matthews of Roxbury Township, grandparents William and Linda Schug of Rockaway, and great grandmother Victoria Steele of West Caldwell, Godfather Glen Evans of Kinnelon, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
