Roxbury Township, Mrs. Sandra Lee Carney, 73, died on March 14, 2018 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover. She was born in Brookline, PA, and grew up in Ocean City, NJ. She moved to Landing 43 years ago. She was an Elementary School Teacher in Mt. Arlington for 15 years. She was a member of St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna, where she taught C C D and sang in the choir.

 She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Thomas B Carney, 3 children; David (and his fiance Lori Labato) Carney of Allamuchy, Sandra (and Jason) Rodriquez of Roxbury Township, and Andrew Carney of Fernandina Beach, FL, and by her sister Hazel (and Earl) Cooper of Cibalo, TX.

 Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Monday from 3 – 5 & 7 – 9 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, 10 am, at St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna, with the interment to follow at the North Jersey Veterans Cemetery in Sparta.
