Randolph Twp, Mrs Ruth Guerin Hildebrant, 95, died on May 13, 2018 at the Bristol Glen Nursing Home in Newton. She was born in Brookside and lived in Mt. Freedom, Mt Fern, and lived for many years in Ironia.

Predeceased by her husband J. Willard Hildebrant, she was the mother of Ruth A. Munson of Dedham, Maine and Virginia Schirripa and her husband Robert of Claremont, California, grandmother of Kimberly and her husband Jay Whitmore, Jacob Munson and his wife Leslie, Jennifer Schirripa, Kevin Grier and his wife Catheryn, Kenneth Grier and his wife Shelley and great-grandmother of Kaitlin, Andrew, Jessica, Rachel, Ryan, Sarah and Scott. Her brother Lewis E. Guerin, Jr. and his wife Flora of New Jersey also survive her.

Ruth enjoyed a career in education. During her 34 year career she held positions as a classroom teacher of Kindergarten through sixth  grade, a librarian, a reading teacher, an Assistant Principal and a Principal.

She was a member of the Flanders United Methodist Church for 35 years. She was a 20 year volunteer at Morristown Memorial hospital. She was a member of the DAR, Delta Kappa Gamma Society, College Club of Dover and the Bristol Glenn Auxiliary.

There will be no viewing and the graveside services at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester will be private.
