Mt. Olive Township, Mrs. Roelie Gierveld, 92, died on May 21, 2022 at Linden Village in Lebanon, PA. She was born in The Netherlands and moved to Flanders, NJ, in 1958. She, and her husband Gerrit, were the owners of Gierveld Refrigeration in Flanders for many years. She was a Deacon and active member of the Flanders Presbyterian Church and loved traveling with her husband in their motorhome across the United States.

She was predeceased by her husband Gerrit Gierveld in 2000, and is survived by her 3 children; Joanna D. (and Joseph) Butrymowicz of Blairstown, John H (and Donna) Gierveld of Myerstown, PA, and Diana (and Dave) Stierli of Port Morris. She also leaves her 6 grandchildren; Brian (and Crystal), Sean (and Elizabeth), Julie, Edward (and Amanda), Joe, Jr., and Linda, and 8 great grandchildren; Gerrit, Nathan, Connor, Lucas, Logan, Aaron, Maisie, and Emily .

The Funeral Service will be held at the Flanders Presbyterian  Church on Tuesday, May 24th, at 11 a.m.  Friends may visit at the Church from 10-11 am prior to the service.
