Bridgewater, NJ  Mr. Robert Leslie Runion, 83, died on November 10, 2013 at Arbor Glen Senior Living, in Bridgewater. He was born in Dover and grew up in Roxbury Township, graduating from Roxbury High School in 1947. He lived in Ledgewood for 54 years before moving to Bridgewater 5 years ago. He was a retired Metallurgy Technician for Lucius Pitkin Inc. in New York City, commuting into the city for 35 years.

He was predeceased by his wife Doris (Gunderman) in 2007 and by his daughter Cheryl Lynn Runion in 1982. He is survived by his son Robert Lee Runion (and Emily) Runion of Flemington, sisters; Dorothy (and Larry) Donofrio and Marion Runion, both of Stanhope, brother Thomas (and Barbara) Runion of Somerville, FL and 2 grandchildren; Christopher and Kelly Runion. His family was the most important thing in his life, especially his 2 grandchildren.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Thursday from 6 – 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, 11 am at the Funeral Home, with the internment to follow at the Succasunna Methodist Cemetery.
