Robert Riley

Sun City Center, FL     Bob was born in Hartford, Connecticut the son of Joseph L. and Marion C. Riley. He was pre-deceased by his sister Lois R. Conolle and is survived by his brothers Richard J. Riley and Raymond Riley as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was married to his wife Barbara in 1958 and had four children, Susan M. Riley, Carole R. (Benedict) McPhillips, Katherine R. (Vernon) Joyner and Robert C. (Deborah) Riley. Bob was the proud grandfather of Eric (Melanie), Brian (Alicia), Mark and Scott McPhillips, V. Thomas, David and Samuel Joyner, Joseph and Paige Riley. He also had five great grand children, Jayson, Benedict, Sawyer, Lincoln and Layla McPhillips.

Bob retired in 2001 after working 44 years in the offset printing industry. After retirement he was active in the Meals on Wheels program in Morris County, New Jersey as well as working at a soup kitchen sponsored by St. Therese R.C. Church in Succasunna, New Jersey until he moved to Wimauma, Florida.

Bob loved sports, he was in many bowling leagues, loved to play golf and was a loyal fan of the New York Giants and Boston Red Sox. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations to St. Vincent DePaul at Prince of Peace R.C. Church will be appreciated.

Visitation will be 8:30 am to 10:00 am at Sun City Center Funeral home followed by a funeral service at Prince of Peace R.C. Church in Sun City. Burial will be private at Pleasant Hill cemetery in Chester, New Jersey. Local arrangements are by the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 07876 (973-584-7264)
