Roxbury Township, Mr. Richard “Rick” Peters, 70 died on November 6, 2012 at his home in Succasunna. He was born in Jersey City and lived in Somerset before moving to Succasunna 32 years ago. He studied at Julliard and the Manhattan School of Music earning his Master’s Degree in Music Education. He was both an accomplished pianist and artist, who was very devoted to his many piano students

He is survived by his wife Joan (Roche) of 46 years, mother Mary Peters of Morris Township, daughter Leslie (and Michael) Novack of Succasunna, son Kevin Peters of Dover, and granddaughter Alexandria Novack.
