Roxbury Township, Mr. Richard Martin Barry, 85, died on November 6, 2016 at the Morristown Medical Center. He was born in Bronx, NY and grew up in Closter, NJ and lived in Denville and Randolph before moving to Succasunna 35 years ago. He was a retired General Contractor and owner of R M Barry Construction and previously was in sales at Onan and Bruce G M Diesel generators. He was a founding member of the Succasunna Lions Club 10 years ago and attended St. Therese R C Church.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Howlett Barry of 10 years, 4 children; Stephen Barry of PA, Leslie A (and John) Thomas of Long Valley, Michael Laterza of FL, and Debbie (and Tom) Morris of Nutley. He also leaves his 7 grandchildren; Brooke, Sean, Alex, Kristina, Bella, Molly, and Dylan, and a great grandson Hunter.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6- 8 pm, and on Thursday from 3 – 4:30 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Thursday, 5 pm, at St Therese R C Church. Donations may be made in his name to St. Therese R C Church.
