Phyllis L Guerrero

Roxbury Township, Mrs. Phyllis Louise Guerrero died on October 8, 2021 at Saint Clares Hospital, Dover. She was born and raised in Totowa, and lived in Randolph and Succasunna before moving to Kenvil 47 years ago. She was a retired telephone operator for the Bell Telephone Company in Morristown, and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a very active member of the Succasunna First Presbyterian Church- singing in the choir, and serving as an Elder, Deacon, Sunday School teacher, Cemetery Secretary, and Historian. She collected antiques and dolls,was a member of a local Doll Club and wrote several articles for magazines in those areas. She also wrote and published 4 books about historical figures in the church.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband John B Guerrero last year and is survived by her 3 sons; John L Guerrero of Sicklerville, NJ, Chris Guerrero of Kenvil, and Lee J (and Nadja) Guerrero of Austria. She also leaves her grandchildren; Nicholas and Jessica.

Friends and relatives may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Friday, October 15th, from 4 – 7 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, 10 am, at the Presbyterian Church, with the interment to follow at the Church Cemetery.
