Paul Horchak

Mt. Olive Township, Mr. Paul Horchak, 82, died on September 25, 2014 at the Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover. He was born and raised in Passaic and was a longtime resident of Denville before moving to Mt. Olive Township. He served in the U S Air Force during the Korean War and then earned his bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Farleigh Dickinson University. He then worked as an electronic engineer at Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway Township for 30 years before retiring in 1993. He was a Founding Member of the Holy Wisdom Byzantine Church in Flanders, a member of the Mt. Arlington Knights of Columbus, and was an avid outdoor’s man.

 He was predeceased by his wife Patricia (nee Culleny) in 1999 and is survived by his son Michael (and Anne) Horchak of Ogdensburg, daughter Laura (and Michael) D’Agostino of Succasunna, and 2 grandsons; Ryan and Patrick D’Agostino.

 Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Monday from 6 -9 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, 10 am, at the Holy Wisdom Byzantine Church in Flanders.
