Nicholas J De Stefano, beloved patriarch,

 Roxbury Township, Mr. Nicholas J De Stefano, 89, died on March 23, 2016 at home. He was born in Newark and lived in Succasunna for 60 years, before moving to Newton 6 months ago. He served in the U S Navy during WW II. He then graduated from The Vail’s School of Business in Newark, and became involved in sales and marketing his whole career. He was a member of St. Therese R C Church and the Roxbury Township Kiwanis.

He is survived by his wife Stella A Ferrucci of 64 years, 4 children; Mary Frances (Charles) DeStefano of San Fransisco, CA, Catherine DeStefano of Sparta, Phyllis (Bill) Tonnesen of Branchville, and Philip (Christine) DeStefano of Branchville, 7 Grandchildren; Lauren, Nicholas, Katie, Sara, Taylor, Giancarlo, Philip, 7 Great Grandchildren; Astrid, Liesl, Elsa, Tristan, Hawkon, Aryanna, Noah, Sister-in-law Frances Tardive of PA, and several nieces and nephews.

 Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Monday from 3 – 5 & 7 – 9 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, 10 am, at St. Therese R C Church, with the interment to follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
