Mt. Arlington,    Mr. Thomas E Strong (78) died on November 25, 2010 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville. He was born in Newark and lived in Kearny for 77 years before moving to Mt. Arlington last month. He served in the U S Army during the Korean War and was an electrician at Western Electric in Kearny for 30 years before retiring in 1985. He was also an avid fly fisherman.

He was predeceased by his wife Theresa (Caldwell) in 2009, and is survived by his cousins; Arlene Flanagan of Randolph, Joan Jones of East Hanover, and by his dear friend James Mason of Rockaway.
