Roxbury Township,   Marion B Preston, 83, died on October 3, 2013 at the House of the Good Shepherd in Hackettstown. She was born in Rutherford, NJ and grew up in Rutherford, Allendale, Upper Saddle River, and Hewitt before moving to Landing 20 years ago to live with her niece, Wahneta Bears. She was a banker in Ridgewood many years ago and was a member of the Prayer Shawl Ministry Group at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Hackettstown. For the last 20 years she has been knitting and crocheting prayer shawls, lap blankets, sweaters, scarf’s, mittens and hats to be sent all around the world.

 She is survived by her sisters: Mavis Berdan of Media, PA and Janice T (and Dean) Good of Vero Beach, FL, 6 nieces, 2 nephews, 4 great nieces, 4 great nephews, 2 great-great nieces, and 10 great-great nephews.
