Roxbury Township, Mrs. Margaret ”Peggy” Helen Mulligan, 83, died on January 20, 2016 at the Hackettstown Regional Medical Center. She was born and raised in New York City, married and started her family there.  Moved  to Parsippany, NJ in 1966, then to Landing, NJ 15 years ago. She was a retired analyst for the Pfizer Corporation in Parsippany, and member of St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna, the Columbiettes in NY, and the Democratic Party in NY.

 She loved Irish music & dancing,  being with her family and close friends   She was a best friend to all, a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, and best mother anyone would could have.  She was always there to be of help to anyone in need, she loved life, family, and she loved her faith and church.

She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Mulligan in 1973, son Brian Mulligan in 2013, granddaughter Katherine Alida Schoneveld , grandson Sean Patrick Mulligan, and granddaughter Erin Mulligan. She is survived by her loving children, daughter Diane M (and Jack) Schoneveld of Landing, Kevin (and Sue) Mulligan of Norton, MA, and KerriAnn Mulligan of Mt. Arlington, 8 surviving grandchildren, Meghan, Daniel, Kristin, Ken, Kathleen, Kelly, Ryan & Neil; great grandchildren; Brendan, and Maeve.

 Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, (973-584-7264) (www.davishepplewhitefh.com) on Thursday, from 3 – 6 pm.  The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday, 10 am at St. Therese R.C. Church, Succasunna.
